| Jewelry Open Call February - March Show: OXIDE Gallery is looking for new jewelry to feature during their February - March shows. Unique, Funky, and Creative pieces are always welcome. From submitting artwork to artwork pick-up, each artist must be personally involved in each step of our multi- step showing process. If an artist is unavailable to personally participate in each step, we will be unable to accept and show their artwork - No Exceptions. Restrictions: New original jewelry only, no reselling used jewelry. Pricing: This is a retail gallery exhibition and everything submitted must be for sale and priced correctly to sale. OXIDE Gallery does not negotiate with perspective customers on the price of artwork. Please price all your submissions at the lowest price you will accept for the piece. Price must include the gallery’s 40% commission. Number of Entries allowed: Minimum of 3 pieces and Maximum of 10 pieces of artwork per artist. However, Necklace & Earring sets will count as 1 piece. Submission Dates: Friday, January 20th - Saturday, January 21st. Submissions can be delivered to OXIDE Gallery any day during normal gallery hours Wed-Fri 9a - 5p and Sat 9a - 1p. Submission Fee: $20.00 per artist no matter how many pieces submitted. Cash only, no checks or credit cards This has to be done by the artist themselves; you may not send someone else in your place. NO EXCEPTIONS. Early submissions may be accepted with prior permission, but no submissions will be accepted after close of business on Saturday, January 21st. Each artist will need to fill out both a Schedule A form and Artist's Contact form to drop off their submissions. There is no submission fee. The jury will review all entries and make their selections. Artists will be contacted the following Monday with the jury’s decisions and will be required to come back in no later than Saturday, January 28th to sign contracts and/or collect their unselected artwork. The show opens on Saturday, February 4th and will close on March 31st 2012. Unsold artwork can be picked up starting on April 2nd.
