What are “Gallery Nights” on your Calendar of Events?
Gallery Night is an opening reception for a new show.  It is an evening event
designed to give art lovers a break from their normal routines and allow them to
visit the gallery and enjoy art in a comfortable and  relaxing “cocktail party” type of
atmosphere.  Enjoy refreshments, music, and visit with friends while we expose you
to some of the best artwork in Denton and the North Texas area. Many of the
artists are on hand and more than happy to discuss their art with you!

Is there a fee to attend your Gallery Nights?
No, Gallery Nights and all normal events at OXIDE GALLERY are FREE and open
to the general public.

How does the gallery work?
The gallery is a “For Sale” gallery, not a show gallery.  All artwork in the gallery is
for sale on consignment.

What is the difference between "Current Show" and
Feature Show?
The Current Show refers to the main artwork in the gallery.  The Current Show is
made up of artwork from a wide range of artists and covers all genres of art.  This
artwork is shown for 3 months, then it is replaced by a new group of artists and
artwork.

The Feature Show refers to a second show within the main show.  This small
collection of artwork is by a single artist, special group of artists, or collection of
artwork of the same genre.  The Feature Show is changed out every month.
