Jane Ruestmann grew up in the Midwest and moved to Texas in the late
70’s. She has been working for over 30 years as an art educator. As an
artist she has worked with many types of media: photography,
watercolor, acrylic, and clay. She is currently working with mixed media
collage.
“My art is an extension of myself that identifies with other people. I enjoy
the small details that are hidden within the finished work. I love all the
layers — the rich colors, the textures, and the depth — in my completed
piece.”
